Discover our feed mill
Mississippi State's current feed mill is antiquated and without pelleting capability, limiting effectiveness in research, teaching, and outreach efforts. Recently Mississippi State has increased its capacity and expertise in feed manufacture and hygiene with the addition of a second faculty member in these areas. Plans are in place to offer expanded educational options for students and industry, in addition to greatly needed research. Having an MSU-controlled and operated mill is imperative to align with targeted research, teaching, and outreach goals to better serve the industry in this area. Reaching these goals will be severely limited by the lack of a MSU feed mill.
