  • Evaluate emerging alternative ingredients used in poultry diets.
  • Evaluate and quantify nutritional needs for bird's overall health.
  • Optimize broiler incubation conditions and improve broiler hatchling quality.
  • Optimize the bird's transition from the incubational to the grow-out period.

Outreach

  • Present research findings at domestic and international scientific meetings.
  • Publish research findings in international journals.
  • Disseminate poultry science knowledge to Mississippi poultry industry.
  • Work with industry nutritionists to find solutions to current applied problems in poultry feed and nutrition.
